With aggressive rhizome production and high density, Nightcrawler is very wear tolerant and recovers rapidly from damage. Unlike some other high density cultivars, Nightcrawler was developed from progeny plots selected for Brown Patch (Rhizoctonia solani) resistance and turf quality in Kentucky.
